The most powerful thing a couple can say to one another is this:
“I accept you just the way you are. You are enough.”
And inside that acceptance, still say:
“I want to grow.
I want to be better.
I want to bring the healthiest, fullest version of myself into this relationship.”
Because being content with one another doesn’t mean becoming complacent.
You can deeply love someone as they are and still inspire each other to grow physically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and socially.
Not from pressure.
Not from shame.
From love.
That kind of growth together?
That’s beautiful.
