A Beautiful Day to Dream

A Beautiful Day to Dream

Good morning.

It is a beautiful morning. It’s a beautiful day, and I feel this way most every day.

I’ve got a beautiful feeling that everything’s going my way. Not because everything is perfect, but because I choose to believe that what is happening is meant to be, and I can make it go my way.

Even when bad things happen to me, I can choose to deal with those things my way.

When I think about nature, and I think about an animal waking up to a day like this, they don’t know anything different than the sun is out.

The berries are on the trees to eat.

There’s hay in the field to poke at.

And there’s one thing we’ve got that they don’t have, and that is the ability to dream.

We are the only species that can dream.

We can look into the stars and dream. Dream big. Dream like a child.

That is our gift.

That is God’s gift to us.

That we can dream.

And dream I do, and dream I shall, just like a child.

Big, audacious dreams.

Bold.

BOAC’s.

Bold, Audacious, Outrageous, Crazy dreams.

Otherwise, what else?

What else?

It’s sad not to dream.

Sad not to have a dream.

I know people who have very little, and they still dream.

They might dream just to be free from oppression.

They might dream for food.

Hope.

Hope and dreams.

Dreams are what carry us forward.
