What makes somewhere—or someone—feel like home? Is home the place you were born, the people you love, the community you build… or something you have to find within yourself? In this episode of Big Ideas, Mark, Jessica, and Justin explore the tension between belonging and longing through three very different experiences of home—from adoption and growing up between countries to divorce, family, world travel, putting down roots, and starting over. We ask what happens when the place that once felt like home no longer does, why we can feel deeply at home thousands of miles away, and whether constantly searching for the next place, person, or chapter can keep us from appreciating where we are right now. Maybe home isn’t something you find. Maybe it’s something you learn to carry with you.
